EL GERENTE / THE MANAGER (2022)

Álvaro Torres (Leonardo Sbaraglia) is a marketing executive stuck in a rut—separated, estranged from his teenage son, overwhelmed by mundane routines and a stagnant career. When his bosses challenge him to revitalize sales ahead of the 2018 World Cup, Álvaro hatches a daring and unorthodox campaign: if the Argentine national football team fails to qualify, the company will refund every customer who bought their TV. As national tension mounts with Argentina teetering on the edge of elimination, Álvaro’s bold idea puts his career, reputation, and the company’s future on the line. Caught between personal frustration and professional pressure, he must gamble everything for a shot at redemption in both his work and personal life.
