In 1992, Ricardo Barreda, to be played by Luis Machín (Cromañón, Diciembre 2001) was an unassuming dentist, brutally murdered his wife, mother-in-law, and two adult daughters in their family home. Branding himself as a victim, Ricardo Barreda ignited a media storm and fueled a national scandal.
The film is an intense exploration of this notorious domestic tragedy with a fresh perspective, giving
voice to the long-silenced women at its core. It is co-produced by Academy Award winner Armando Bo’s About Entertainment (Cromañon), Infinity Hill (Argentina, 1985) and Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Daniela Goggi (El Rapto). The cast also includes Carla Peterson (Blondi, El Gerente) and Mercedes Morán (Elena Sabe, El Reino).
